SUPPORT COORDINATOR & SOCIAL WORKER

I’m Alysha, a support coordinator and social worker at Empowered Project.

My true passion to work closely with people from diverse backgrounds has led me to pursue formal qualifications in social work and psychology. I am driven by the desire to truly support individuals from all walks of life and appreciate that we all have different experiences that make us unique. In addition to my formal qualifications, I dedicate some of my time to promoting mental health awareness among youth in Adelaide, where we facilitate community engagement and connectedness through events.

I view many facets of this role as a privilege. I understand the difficult nature of disclosing personal information and instilling trust in those who are providing support. This drives my dedication to ensuring that each individual and family feels heard and valued during their time with Empowered Project.
